Summary: Great Kit
Comment: This is a wonderful kit to compliment the DS XL. Our 6 year old got one for her brithday and she is using every bit of the kit, as is her brother who has a DS as well. I don't believe the charger is compatible, but he looses styluses all the time. The hard case is wonderful as kids can be rough, so I like the protection it affords and the ability to carry extr supplies with it.

Summary: You'll need extra screen protectors
Comment: Pretty much all the good things that have been said are true - it has all it shows and it functions as expected. But when I attempted to apply the screen protectors which was one of the main items I wanted from this set the peel off tab's don't peel off - at least they didn't with mine. I have a burgundy set. I have a PSP so I've applied these things before and didn't do it incorrectly. I peeled off the top and applied the bottom - each side has a little paper tab stuck to it identifying it and once you've applied the protector you remove the little tab. On all 4 in the set the same thing happened the tab wouldn't peel off completely - it left behind paper and sticky residue. I don't know where they held these but can guess it wasn't in a climate controlled area - believe that they were stored in a hot area where the gluing was allowed to get hot and form an incredible bond with the plastic protector. If you've ever tried to remove a label from a jar - this is exactly the way this tab behaved. Now I'm here to fuss at the company and order different protectors from Nintendo - hoping that since they made the system their protectors will be of a higher quality.

Comment: the kit is great and did match my daughter nintendo dsi xl colou ( burgandy ) the earphone work good, but the case that u put ur console in it have a handel outside so u can carry it in a belt or...., but when she try to hold it it fell, it is not stitch it's glued and the glue is very bad abd sticky

Summary: Charging dock broken
Comment: Don't buy this kit for the "charging dock." Mine lasted three days and broke! I am not abusive to gadjetry, but it won't plug into the DSi any more . It was cute, but now it's trash. I haven't used the rest of the accessories as yet except for the screen protector. That was a waste becauce the sticky tab used to hold it while yoy install it doesn't peel off! It left a sticky linty film that I could not remove.
Good ideas but unusable in practice.
