Summary: Great add if you bought Xbox 360 S
Comment: This product was great when I bought the Xbox 360 Pro. It produced clear 1080P pictures on my HD TV. I got the new Xbox 360 S and traded in everything from the Pro and I was happy to get my Xbox 360 S. Its good and all but the biggest upset of it was STANDARD AV cables! Are you serious we're in a world where all they sell was HD TVs and they give us a cable that was used a decade ago? I was hoping for a HDMI cable but one of these HD AV cables at the least. So I came here to get one of these handy cables. Delivery was fast got it in 3 days, and it was sealed in original wrap (not a retail box). Choked up some more cash for this but at about ten bucks its a great price compared to forty bucks retail.

Summary: Good option if you cant afford HDMI cable.
Comment: Definitely buy this if your 360 did not come with it (Like the majority of us). This component cable is excellent if the HDMI pricing is too high for your budget, but better buy it here since you can get them for around 5 dollars and something cents...WORTH IT! If you have upgraded to an HDTV screen, and still using the standard cable, you're really missing out. This cable is fantastic, it really makes the screen way better and easier to read the letters. This cable truly shows the 360's graphical capabilities. Good job Microsoft.

Summary: blocks the hdmi port
Comment: This is a good product, but a bit of caution to prospective buyers. If you want to use this purely for the toslink optical out port, it will block the HDMI port on your Xbox360 Elite (I'm not sure about other models). This was not mentioned in the sellers ad and would have helped steer me to the more useful and proper cable.

However, if you find yourself in the same boat, simply snap the plastic cover away from the larger end. Just use a small screwdriver to get started, then a bit bigger one and it should pop right off. Then you can plug it in and still have room to plug in your HDMI cable.

Why on earth Microsoft made one end of this ridiculously large is just maddening.

Summary: Pro Cables Direct = Awesome
Comment: So glad that I found them on amazon before giving in and purchasing another over priced Component Cable for my XBox 360. The cable from Pro Cables is basically the same product as Microsofts... just a small fraction of the price. I don't know how they can afford to do it, but it makes you wonder why gaming companies can over-price the hell out of everything. Overall, I give Pro Cables Direct a 11 out of 10 for price and quality.
