Comment: Pokemon emerald game does not save. Sender said it saves, but instead erases when it saves. So didn't enjoy game.

Comment: this was a gift and it was disappointing to the kid b/c it doesn't save and that seems to be the only reason a kid would want to play this game. Also there is no way to return the product apparently.

Comment: I thought this was a nice version of Pokemon being one of the first i really got a chance to play but i thought compared to other role playing games based on the SNES (as thats basically what the GBA is based on) had more detailed graphics (like Secret of Mana) However i read that the new pokemon black and white games will have pretty nice graphics (but im still waiting for a full 3d fighting engine in a Pokemon handhold RPG!)
Its a fun game to play that may be easy to start but once you got into the details of capturing , rasing and fighting with Pokemon you'll find lots to do. The only thing i find is that..coming from great story based RPGS such as Final Fantasy.. Pokemon games dont exactly have the moth in depth story in the world. It would be nice in future games to have a more ..involving story but i guess they just want to keep the story simple and focus more on finding and catching them all! If you never played a pokemon game and still have the GBA (or a DS that has a GBA slot.. you should check this out...however my suggestion is if you already have a DS check out one of the later Pokemon games like Platinum or Soulsilver/Heartgold as they have a bit more features (and more Pokemon!) and better graphics!
