Summary: zelda
Comment: this is a great game if you like the classic and the games last a lot longer than the old nes games did. the only downfall is that you can only play them on a smaller screen. other than that this is a great buy

Summary: Amazing!!!
Comment: This game (A Link to the Past) is the best GBA game I have ever played in my entire life. At first it was confusing, but once I understood the controls and the puzzle elements I was having so much fun. The graphics aren't the greatest, but graphics are not as important as fun. The storyline was interesting. I thought I had finished the game and then realized that I was just a third of the way done with it! Collecting pieces of heart and all the little extra things (such as getting Link's sword tempered or getting the upgraded boomerang) made this game have great replay value.
The only negative things are the graphics and trekking back and forth across the map to get some badly needed health potion or catch some fairies. The storyline was a little tedious, but it was easy to skip past it.
Overall an amazing, wonderful game that you should buy (especially at this price!)

Summary: Classic Zelda game
Comment: Even without being part of the Zelda series, this game is a lot of fun. If you've played 'Link's Awakening' on the Gameboy, you will see that this game is very reminiscent of that one. You gain one special item in each successive Palace - something that has not changed as far as I know, fight bosses, and navigate your way through progressively more difficult dungeons/lairs. The nice thing is that this game provides a lot of backdrop compared to older installments of Zelda, and the graphics were really nice for that time, and still are today.

There are a couple of parts of this game that are frustrating, but overall this game is really solid, and I've enjoyed it. If you're a Zelda fan, definitely check it out.

Comment: This is one of several games I was introduced to by a friend back in the early to mid 90s. Since it was one-player I always watched Adam play it and eventually went out to buy it. Until Ocarina of Time was released this was my favorite Zelda game to date. I downloaded it on the Wii and am still working on finding all of the hearts; I have one more to left.
For 1992 and 1993, this game was good as far as graphics go. They were crisp and not jagged like they were for the NES Zeldas, though Link was rather small and indistinguishable. Because of the exiting game play and nostalgic value this is one of my all-time favorites.
